2.27.08 Just got back from Canada—extra big love to Jokers Of The Scene, Nrmls Wlcm and 1/2 Alive for hooking up all kinds of great shows, and to vitaminsforyou for the tasty jams and having the good sense to get Dave Foster involved. Just two shows coming up this month but they're pretty fucking special: 3.5 at Mezzanine San Francisco with Junior Boys (DJ), Lo Fi Fnk & Sorcerer, and 3.15 at Whiskey Bar Austin/SXSW with Ghost Hustler, BLKJKS, & The Party DJs. Also big shout to Gorilla Vs. Bear for a very kind mention. The split 12" with Shout Out Out Out and the first Stereo Image release are coming soon!

1.9.08 Right! So I'm working round the clock on a new stack of blood house electrofunk jams. Saw the whole thing yesterday. But back on planet earth look for the San Serac remix album You Forgot It In Club, the In The End It's Your Friends/Friends split 12" with Shout Out Out Out Out, and the long-delayed Good & Evil Japan release of the Professional EP, all in the coming months. More on those soon. Also a few shows in the northeast this month, including the penultimate POP!—a bittersweet occasion with my man Morgan Louis after two years of solid awesome.

11.27.07 San Francisco show: San Serac plus very awesome people, specifically Boom Bip, Codebreaker and James F!.@$%^ Friedman. That's December 7th at Elbo Room. Short of that I'm laying low for a minute to work on new songs and remixes. Also "Tyrant" is on the controversial Output I Hate Music compilation. I actually like music myself, but hey.

10.9.07 Professional is released in Canada today on Normals Welcome. It was also the top added CMJ RPM release last week, apparently just ahead of Matthew Dear good heavens! On a related note, I'm playing the Terrorbird CMJ showcase the afternoon of October 18th, which is very awesome. And after the Shout Out tour I'm hitting the midwest and south with Tigercity. That's in November (dates coming soon). Also: brand new mix on the media page, a guest DJ spot with Nick Luscombe for Resonance FM. Get involved!

9.9.07 US/Canada tour with Shout Out Out Out Out is going down for real—all dates in the shows section. Professional hits Canada October 9th; I'm back in Alberta the weekend before for a release party double-header with Chromeo. And Pitchfork dropped wisdom on the first Stereo Image single.

8.1.07 Well the long-suffering website is finally up, that's news. Holler if you hit any flicted code. Very excited to announce that Professional will be released in Canada this fall via Normals Welcome, the label run by Shout Out Out Out Out. I'm heading over to Edmonton to do a couple shows with them later this month. I'm ALSO playing Color, the new amazing monthly party from fellow disco-soul devotee Joseph Colbourne. And the first Stereo Image single Red Nights hits Bleep September 3rd. Coordinate!
